How does Capacity Planning help with my event?
With Gather Digital’s Capacity Planning feature, you can anticipate and prevent room overflow challenges. Simply set an attendance limit on a particular location (e.g. 75 people) and mark a session at that location as constrained. When your attendee taps the app button to add that session to their My Schedule, the app will check and make sure there is still capacity at that location and also check that the attendee has not already booked another session at the same time. No double-booking allowed.
You’ll be able to see a report at any time as to who has reserved a spot in that session, and you’ll be able to monitor for sessions reaching capacity. Feel free to move the session to a large location or create an overflow room to keep things running smoothly.
